Warm Gin Cocktail Recipe

Warm Gin Cocktail Recipe

Now that the clocks have changed and there's a nip in the air, we thought it was about time to share our famous mulled gin punch. Hot, spicy, sweet and delicious, perfect for cosy-ing up by the fire.

Roundwood Mulled Gin Punch

Makes approx 6 servings

400ml Roundwood London Dry Gin

400ml Sweet Madeira Wine

Peel and juice of 1 lemon

Peel and juice of 1 orange

100ml apple juice

1-2 tablespoons of soft brown sugar (depends how sweet you like it!)

3 cinnamon sticks

3 cloves

pinch of nutmeg

1 star anise

Add all your ingredients to a large pan and bring to a gentle simmer. Try not to let it boil or you'll lose some of the gin! Once simmering, turn off the heat and let your spices "mull" for 30 minutes to 1 hour (or longer if you're patient enough - it only gets better!) Strain out all the bits and gently reheat before serving.
